Casa Mont'Alves:
Casa Mont’Alves is a small family house in Oeiras, just outside Lisbon on the coast of Portugal. We dedicate ourselves to the laekenois because it is an extremely intelligent and owner oriented breed. The fact that they have an unique appearance that is not very popular is just so appealing that we welcome this breed in our house.
We do not produce many litters and the one’s we do is because we are searching for a specific improvement and because we want to keep a dog for ourselves. For us our laekens are first our pets and we only keep a maximum of two laekenois living with us. The others are living with friends and family as their pet’s were they can have dedicated attention and love. This is the only way we can dedicate all our time to them and welcome our laekenois in our travels and holydays.
We like to attend dog shows and the dogs are shown by other me or my children, We have much fun travelling around with the dogs.
Our dogs are tested for hips, elbows and eyes and we enjoy spending a lot of time making sure the puppies have plenty of new experiences before they move on to they new homes.
